OogLaDaar

OogLaDaar is a four-piece band based in El Paso comprised of filmmakers Paul Dumond, Vanessa McKee, Hazael Anaya and Lucky McKee. The band has become a fantastic new creative frontier for each member, expanding their reach in sharing stories and creativity with their individual fanbases. Since forming in the fall of 2023, OogLaDaar has released multiple EPs and albums, all of which are available worldwide on every major streaming platform. The band writes and records non-stop and has a mountain of material archived for future releases. Influences on OogLaDaar range from ‘90s alternative to goth, pop, folk, metal and (of course) good old-fashioned rock and roll. The band constantly pushes itself into uncharted territory to stay creatively excited and to keep its growing audience on its toes. For the upcoming Plaza Classic show — opening for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, no less — they will be joined by guitar and bass virtuoso Brent Hogue to ensure the audience gets a full, rich sound, representative of the band’s recordings.
