¡Vivamos México! – The Official Celebration of Mexico’s Independence Anniversary

Celebrate the rich culture, traditions, and history that unite the Paso del Norte region at ¡Vivamos México!, a vibrant, family-friendly celebration honoring the 216th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence.

Join us on Saturday, September 12, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the El Paso Convention Center Plaza for an unforgettable evening featuring live entertainment, cultural performances, and activities for the entire community.

Experience the excitement of the official Grito de Independencia Ceremony, a thrilling Lucha Libre match, live Mariachi music, local talent performances, delicious food trucks, an artisanal crafts market, and a fun-filled Kids’ Zone.

Presented by the Consulate General of Mexico in El Paso, Destination El Paso, and the City of El Paso, ¡Vivamos México! celebrates the shared heritage, traditions, and friendship between El Paso and Mexico.

Admission is free and open to the public.
