Water Park Coordinator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Answers, transfers/directs all incoming calls; takes phone messages as appropriate.
•Remains current with water parks and events information; responds to inquiries.
•Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person; responds to inquiries; announces visitors per protocol.
•Accepts job applications and administration of related documents under the direction of human resources.
•Processes all in-coming mail for the division per protocol and delivers as required.
•Provide administrative support including typing correspondence, maintaining calendar, preparing contracts and proposals, making travel arrangements, compiling expense and other reports, processing invoices, monitor contract compliance of facility rentals, etc.
•Perform general administrative functions including faxing, photocopying, mail distribution, bulk mailings, purchase requests, check requests, and other administrative duties as assigned.
•Assist with various event related duties as needed.
•Assist Water Park Sales Manager with private event bookings, group sales and administrative duties related to sponsorships.
•Data entry.
•Monitor social media platforms.
•Assist in recruitment process and facilitating training sessions for seasonal and part time staff.
•Assist in addressing and or directing any guest or employee concerns to the proper individual.
•Remains current with emergency protocols related to visitors, call handling, and notifications to Security and Public Safety.
•Maintain required certifications as needed.
•Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours as required.
•Other duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Administrative degree or extensive administrative experience strongly preferred.
•Advanced oral and written communication skills.
•Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
•Results oriented individual with the ability to meet requirements of position.
•Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skill.
•Ability and flexibility to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
•Excellent computer skills; basic math and financial skills for reporting and evaluation.
•Able to operate various computer software packages necessary to complete assignments, specifically MS office.
•Knowledge of social media platforms and event marketing.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Associates Degree and/or 2 years work experience
Bilingual (English-Spanish) Preferred

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Examples:
•Daily sitting, focusing on and operating a personal computer or terminal keyboard to enter data for aver 60 minutes at a time.
•Ability to read printed words and numbers in printed form and on computer/terminal monitor.
•Communicate by telephone for up to 30 minutes at a time on a daily basis.
•Stand several times a day for up to five minutes to operate photocopier / scanner.
•Daily lifting up to 25 lbs. Up to 5 minutes at a time. Daily carrying up to 25 lbs. up to 5 minutes at a time.
•Daily standing for up to 15 minutes at a time operating office equipment such as scanner, printer or photocopier.
•See and distinguish objects or symbols as 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less. Depth perception, peripheral vision and bringing objects into focus.
•Write using pen/pencil or personal computer keyboard for up to 30 minutes at a time on a daily basis.
•Climbing ladders and staircases multiple times per day as needed to pick stock.
